About Us

Halau O Na Pau Kea (School of the White Flower) is a Senior Hawaiian Dance Group from the Levine Senior Center in Matthews, North Carolina. Our instructor, Yo Osborn, brought her Hawaiian heritage to our group, and has taught us to showcase the dances of Polynesian.  We have been dancing together for five years and have won medals in the Char-Meck Senior Games. we have, also represented Mecklenburg County in the North Carolina State Games. Our performances are truly one of a kind, and we encourage participation and teach our audiences Hula (women) and Tahitian (men) dances.
